This Spring
Training ballpark is the home of the Colorado Rockies. It
was constructed in the 1930s and dedicated in 1951 after
Hiram Steven Corbett, who served as President of the Tucson
Baseball Commission for 25 years. For over 40 years the
ballpark was the home of the Cleveland Indians before they
moved their spring operations to Florida. It has been the
home of the Colorado Rockies since 1993. Hi Corbet Field has
been renovated several times including in 1992, '97 and '99. |
